Caring mothers put a hat on their child even in warm weather – it is needed to protect the baby from the sun.
But what if the little one doesn’t want to put up with the headdress at all, and, once outside, keeps pulling it off?
You can, of course, try walking in the shade, but if this option doesn’t work, be sure to try other tricks that experienced parents have shared.
First, try putting the hat on a little differently: pushing it slightly towards the back of your head.
In this position, it will not interfere with facial expressions or block the view, and these are the most common reasons for not liking a cap or panama hat.
Secondly, change the style of the headdress – it may turn out that the child is uncomfortable in this particular “skullcap”.
Third, make sure the size of the hat fits your baby. Do not buy a hat that fits too tightly. If the head circumference is 42 centimeters, it is recommended to choose a size 42-44 or 44. Children grow quickly, and a hat that is too tight can cause discomfort.
And fourthly, during your walk, use an umbrella to create shade and protect your baby from direct sunlight.
