Many mothers face the problem when the baby is happy (or at least does not express any particular emotions) if she is nearby.
But as soon as she turns away or, even worse, leaves, the baby starts screaming.
As a rule, this period occurs at the age of 8-9 months, when the child is aware of himself and his desires, but cannot express them.
If you encounter such behavior in your baby, use the following tips.
1. Make sure that crying and restlessness in your absence are not caused by objective reasons such as a wet diaper or hunger.
2. Don't try to be within arm's reach of your child 24/7. The problematic period will pass sooner or later, only the habit of hanging on your mother's hands will remain. The child should come to terms with the fact that not all of his wishes will be fulfilled on demand.
3. Try to distract your child with a new bright toy or by listening to a song or a fairy tale.
4. If you have entered the period when the child becomes “tame”, do not hesitate to ask for help from grandmothers, nannies, etc.
