Why Children Don't Want to Study: The Reasons Are Named - Totally Negative

Not all children are interested in spending their free time with a book at home or at a school desk. It is useless to talk about the importance of the knowledge they have acquired and the choice of a future profession if their friends have already invited the child to go out.

But it happens that a child does not want to acquire knowledge in principle and does not strive for anything at all.

Experts have named the reasons that could have brought the child to such a state.

It doesn't work

There can be many reasons. Starting from developmental peculiarities, difficulties with reading or writing, or parents who do not work with their children.

As a result, the child begins to feel like an outcast and is hostile to school.

But it is wrong to think that he is destined to become a poor student. These are the fruits of upbringing, which parents will have to reap for a very long time.

Bullying

Everyone knows the concept of "bullying". And if a child is systematically bullied at school (this can be done not only by classmates, but even by teachers), then academic performance and studies will be far from perfect.

Fears

As they say, fear has big eyes. This could be the fear of getting a bad grade on a test, seeming worse than your classmates, or even the fear of upsetting your parents with a bad grade.

Addiction

For modern children, the most addictive items are gadgets or computers. But the problem is not that there is no time left for studying.

The content children consume on the Internet does not promote development; it is light, if not primitive.

And if your child has been on social media all holiday long, then at the beginning of the term it will be oh so difficult to comprehend literary geniuses or the exact sciences.

And let's not forget about adolescence, when studying seems like a secondary matter.

Earlier we talked about how to teach a child to do homework independently.
