Many mothers do not like it when their children refuse to share toys with their peers.
Women believe that in this case the baby demonstrates greed and other bad character traits.
However, you shouldn’t force a child to give away their item temporarily or permanently.
And there are at least three reasons why this rule should be followed.
The child should play to his heart's content
It happens that a boy or girl is forced to give up a toy, although the child has not even had time to get used to this thing.
The kid probably wants to play on his own. But if the car or doll ends up in the hands of a peer, the child will clearly not like it.
A child should have freedom of choice
It is important to remember that a toy is the child's property. And the child must decide for himself how to use his thing.
If you make decisions for your baby, he may become indecisive and weak-willed.
The child must learn to refuse
Even in early childhood, a child should develop the ability to tactfully refuse.
This “skill” will be useful both in childhood and in adulthood.
But if it is difficult for a child to refuse, then he will have a hard time in life.
