3 Mom's Mistakes That Will Prevent Her Son From Having a Masculine Character

Every mother wants her son to grow up to be a real man: responsible, brave and fair.

However, such character traits will only develop in a boy with proper upbringing.

And it's not just about the father's actions. The mother must also choose the right strategy for raising a child.

Unfortunately, women often make mistakes that cause their sons to grow up irresponsible, cowardly and indecisive. What kind of mistakes are we talking about?

Prohibition on displaying emotions

Some mothers believe that their sons should always be calm.

However, do not force the boy to hide his true emotions. This is very dangerous.

If a child never lets off steam, he will become secretive and fearful.

The same can be said about tears: do not forbid your child to cry. Not only girls have the right to such behavior.

Demand to show care

Of course, it is good when a boy takes care of his mother and other relatives. However, the child should do this without coercion.

Don't force your son to be kind and caring. The kid should come to the conclusion about the need to be like that on his own.

But if you hammer the statement “a man should” into a boy’s head, nothing good will come of it.

Firstly, the son may come to the conclusion that he owes everything and his problems mean nothing. Secondly, constant subordination does not contribute to the formation of independence.

Frequent criticism of the child's father

Some women constantly criticize and insult the father of their child.

This cannot be done in a complete family or after a divorce. Even if the mother thinks that her ex- or current husband deserves such treatment.

A boy should have a male example before his eyes. If a woman constantly humiliates her husband, the child will draw dangerous conclusions.

Thus, there should be mutual respect between spouses.
