Many children have a bad habit of throwing tantrums in order to force their parents to do something.
A classic example: a child starts crying in a store, forcing mom and dad to buy him a toy.
Such "blackmail" is unacceptable. The child must understand that tears and screams are bad ways to achieve certain goals.
How can you make your child behave normally? You need to react to tantrums in a special way.
The correct response to a child's tantrum
Parents should understand that with their hysteria, the child is most likely trying to get mom and dad “on the hook.”
Therefore, you cannot make concessions to a crying and screaming baby, otherwise the boy or girl will use the above-described psychological technique very often.
You need to act like this: stay calm, be confident, and don't react to the hysteria. You can't show confusion, and especially don't follow the child's "order".
It is advisable to move away from the baby altogether (however, it is desirable that the child still remains in sight).
You can return to discussing a particular issue only after the child stops throwing a tantrum.
If you always follow this strategy, the baby will come to the conclusion: “Crying, screaming and emotions do not help to achieve results, so I will not do this anymore.”
