It is also commonly believed that toasts with thick sweet mass are quite filling and energizing. But in reality, not everything is so good in this regard.

It turns out that such a dish is quite harmful when consumed immediately after waking up.

Why Toast and Jam Is a Bad Breakfast

Perhaps the main drawback of this dish is the abundance of carbohydrates.

But there is clearly a lack of proteins. And this is very bad: the human body needs this component from the very morning.

The answer is simple: at first a person will feel full, but after a couple of hours he will feel hungry: a protein deficiency will make itself known.

As a result, the risk of overeating will increase (long before lunch you will want to "eat something"). In addition, a working person will face fatigue too early.

So, give up toast bread with jam for breakfast. Eat dishes in the morning that have the right balance of proteins, fats and carbohydrates.

Moreover, it is desirable that we are talking about complex carbohydrates and correct (“healthy”) fats.

For breakfast you can eat porridge, boiled eggs, avocado, cottage cheese dishes, etc.
