Everyone has probably heard about the benefits of tangerines.

These fruits are full of fiber, vitamins and minerals. Take vitamin C, for example: after eating one medium-sized tangerine, you cover your daily requirement for this supplement by more than 25%.

But don’t overindulge: according to WHO recommendations, adults should eat no more than 2 servings of 80 g of fruit per day (one serving is one medium fruit).

And children under 1.5 years of age should not be offered these fruits at all. If the child has an increased tendency to allergies, then introducing tangerines should be postponed until three years.

And some adults have contraindications to the use of this fruit. These include gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, gastritis, enteritis, colitis, cholecystitis, hepatitis, etc.

But even if you are sure that all of the above does not apply to you, you should be careful when eating tangerines.

Doctors recommend rinsing your mouth with warm water every time after consuming this product.

This rule also works for oranges, grapefruits and other citrus fruits.

This is because they contain large amounts of organic acids, which destroy tooth enamel.
