In summer, you can sleep soundly either outside the city or with an air conditioner. But these conditions are not enough for sleep to be called healthy.
The main culprits are high temperatures, stuffy rooms, poor quality bed linen and later sunsets.
How to get enough sleep in the summer, writesAif.ru with reference to the chief physician of Moscow City Polyclinic No. 220 Andrey Tyazhelnikov.
Comfortable temperature
Experts say that the ideal range of indoor air temperature is +21 to +23 degrees Celsius.
Light from the window can also be a hindrance, since it gets dark much later at night.
In such conditions, it is impossible to get enough sleep, since the sleep hormone (melatonin) is produced in the dark.
Any means of darkening the room or sleeping blindfolds will help in this regard.
But if the room temperature rises above +23 degrees, then instead of sleeping, a person begins to sweat profusely.
Even if there is no air conditioner and ventilation does not help, you should turn on a fan, which can also lower the temperature in the room.
It is equally important to choose bed linen made from natural materials. Also, don't forget about a cool shower.
