What foods should you not eat with bananas?
Firstly, it is not recommended to eat bananas with oranges and other citrus fruits, as this can cause digestive problems.
Secondly, you shouldn't drink coffee with bananas. Caffeine enhances the effect of potassium contained in bananas, which can cause high blood pressure and irregular heartbeat.
Thirdly, you can't combine bananas with avocados. Since both fruits are high in potassium, hyperkalemia may develop.
Fourthly, bananas do not go well with alcohol – they enhance its effect on the central nervous system.
Fifthly, bananas should not be consumed with sweets, as this can lead to weight gain, diabetes and tooth decay.
Also, you can’t combine unripe bananas with ripe ones, as this can cause bloating.
