A balanced diet is one of the measures to prevent diseases of the reproductive system in women.
This is the conclusion reached by the authors of a study published in the journal Nutrients, in which scientists studied one of the most common diseases among women of reproductive age – uterine fibroids.
To reduce inflammation, researchers recommend including foods from this list in your diet.
Vegetables
Particularly beneficial are legumes, which support hormonal balance; leafy green vegetables, which are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants; and broccoli and cauliflower, which affect estrogen levels in the body.
Fruits
Fruits are a source of antioxidants that reduce inflammation. Citrus fruits contain a lot of vitamin C, apples contain dietary fiber. Pineapples contain an enzyme with anti-inflammatory properties, and kiwis can break down proteins that promote tumor growth.
Berries
The benefits of berries are that they contain antioxidants and polyphenolic compounds. Again, both of these “components” can reduce inflammation.
Fish and fatty acid products
Fish contains omega-3 fatty acids, which in turn reduce inflammation. Where else can you find this important component? “Look” in flaxseed, chia seeds, walnuts, and sunflower seeds.
Bird
To ensure that chicken, duck, turkey, geese, guinea fowl and quail are healthy, try not to fry them in refined oil, but use the sous-vide technique.
It is recommended to wash down all this “splendor” with decaffeinated green tea.
