As the specialist noted, yogurt contains a lot of lactic acid bacteria, but they will not bring any benefit if you eat the product immediately after waking up.
The fact is that after waking up, the concentration of hydrochloric acid in the stomach is too high, and beneficial lactobifidobacteria cannot survive in it.
Zakhovaeva recommended eating yogurt and other fermented milk products two hours after breakfast.
She noted that the body will receive even more benefits if you eat a portion in the evening.
At the same time, the specialist recommended choosing cottage cheese for the morning meal.
The thing is that it is very filling, helps control appetite and improves metabolism.
