At first glance, kvass seems to be a completely safe drink that perfectly quenches thirst. But not everyone can drink this drink.

Nutritionist Mikhail Ginzburg spoke about this in more detail during an interview for Sputnik radio.

As the doctor noted, the product contains organic acids that can irritate the mucous membrane, causing gastritis and peptic ulcers.

Therefore, people with stomach diseases are not recommended to drink kvass.

Ginzburg emphasized that the kvass sold in stores contains too much sugar, which can ultimately lead to diabetes or obesity.

Therefore, you should not abuse the drink, and you should not drink more than one glass of kvass per day.

If such a product has been chosen, it should be drunk after the main meal so as not to irritate the mucous membrane.

If we are talking about adding kvass to okroshka, then you can eat a small portion per day.
