Rainy weather can really be dangerous.
But not for everyone, only for people with certain diseases.
Therapist Nadezhda Chernyshova spoke about this in an interview for the publication “ Moscow 24 ”.
She noted that such weather can have a negative impact on the condition of hypertensive patients and others.
The thing is that rain always means low atmospheric pressure, which means that pressure drops are possible.
In this case, hypotension and hypertensive patients suffer.
Chernyshova also added that people with lung problems may feel worse.
This is usually due to the fact that rain reduces the concentration of oxygen in the air, which means that a person may experience a lack of it.
The doctor noted in a conversation with journalists that damp weather and rain have a negative impact on the condition of people who have joint diseases. If there are chronic diseases associated with this, they can worsen.
