Nutritionist Rob Hobson from Healthspan has named five popular products that provoke the development of hypertension.
Number one on this list is salt.
This was reported by the British publication Daily Express .
What foods increase blood pressure
First, salt. As Hobson explained, excessive salt consumption leads to fluid retention.
You can consume a maximum of 6 grams of salt per day, otherwise high blood pressure is guaranteed.
Secondly, canned soups. The nutritionist warned that ready-made broths contain a huge amount of salt seasonings and sodium (helps increase shelf life).
Thirdly, canned olives. They also contain a lot of salt.
Also, according to Hobson, hypertension is provoked by the consumption of coconut oil and packaged juices.
Coconut oil contains a huge amount of cholesterol-raising fats, and packaged juices contain a lot of sugar, which provokes weight gain. High cholesterol and excess weight, in turn, lead to hypertension.
