During sleep, the human body recovers and gains strength for future endeavors.
But lack of sleep leads to a host of additional problems. One of them is related to appearance and skin.
Specialist Nikolai Potekaev spoke about this in more detail on the Doctor TV channel.
He talked about a fairly common disease called seborrheic dermatitis. As a result, a person suffers from inflammation and flaking of the skin.
The disease manifests itself in areas where there are many sebaceous glands. Most often, this occurs on the face. The nasolabial folds, hair growth zone and scalp are especially affected. Dandruff is dry seborrhea.
As the doctor explained, the disease occurs due to improper sleep and lack of sleep.
For example, if a man or woman goes to bed only closer to the morning, then immunity decreases, the body cannot restore important and necessary processes.
Stress, a busy work schedule, overwork, and alcohol abuse also lead to the problem.
