Scientists from the UK have found a link between brain and ovarian cancer and excessive consumption of unhealthy food.
We are talking about ultra-processed foods.
The findings of the study were published in the journal EClinicalMedicine.
As doctors noted, the list of harmful foods includes many people's favorite products that were subjected to intensive processing during their production.
This list includes breakfast cereals, bread, pizza, sausages, hot dogs, soda, French fries, chips, cakes, candy, ice cream and much more.
The production of such products is relatively cheap and convenient, so such treats are widespread.
The problem with consuming junk food is that the body cannot respond normally to ultra-processed ingredients and additives, for example, as it does to fresh and nutritious foods with minimal processing.
