The liver is the body's main filter, but many people don't even realize that they poison it every day with their usual products.
Harmful products are hiding under the guise of healthy ones. They are definitely in your refrigerator.
Harmful products
For example, low-fat yogurts with “healthy” labels on the packaging.

To compensate for the taste, they add sugar and artificial sweeteners, which overload the liver.
Another enemy is ready-made muesli. It would seem that oatmeal with dried fruits is an ideal breakfast. But after processing and adding syrups, they turn into a calorie bomb that provokes fatty hepatosis.
Vegetable oils like sunflower oil are no less dangerous. When heated, they release toxins that the liver has to neutralize for years.
What about protein bars for snacking? Most of them are a mixture of soy, chemical flavors and sugar, which slows down your metabolism.
The list goes on, but the bottom line is simple: the less processed food you eat, the healthier your liver.
Replace store-bought sauces with homemade ones, cook with coconut or ghee, and make your own sweets from nuts and honey.
Next, take white bread and pastries for example. They contain gluten and yeast, which cause fermentation in the intestines. The liver is forced to neutralize the decay products, which leads to chronic fatigue.
And then there are carbonated drinks. Even the zero-calorie “diet” versions contain aspartame, which when broken down produces formaldehyde, a poison that destroys liver cells.
Don't forget about sausages. Nitrites, preservatives and excess salt in the composition turn every sandwich into a blow to health. The liver, trying to remove these substances, works to the point of wear and tear, which over time leads to fibrosis.
Even “healthy” juices in packages are dangerous: the fructose in them is processed directly in the liver, turning into fat and causing obesity of the organ.
How to protect yourself
Start with the simple: drink more pure water. It flushes out toxins and makes the liver's job easier.
Add beets to your diet - its betaine restores organ cells.
Avocado, rich in glutathione, neutralizes carcinogens, and turmeric relieves inflammation.
And don’t forget about green tea – the catechins in it block the accumulation of fat in the liver.
But the main thing is to avoid extremes. Don't go on detox diets with lemon juice and pepper: they only irritate the gastrointestinal tract.
It is better to gradually replace harmful products with natural analogues. For example, instead of mayonnaise, use avocado or Greek yogurt with garlic. And instead of candy, use dates with almonds.
