A quarrel in the family or criticism from the boss can throw anyone off track.

If you get nervous with or without reason, it is not far from serious health problems: constant nervous tension contributes to the development of depression and threatens the appearance of heart disease.

So try to deal with panic before it has a detrimental effect on your body.

The following exercise will help you with this.

You need to lie down against the wall and press your buttocks against it. Your legs should be stretched upwards so that they are at an angle of 90 degrees to your body.

In this pose you are guaranteed to feel calm and relaxed, the main thing is not to get up too early - lie down for about 20 minutes.

It goes without saying that it is only appropriate to use this method when you are at home.

If stress has caught up with you in another place, try to get rid of it using the 4-7-8 breathing technique.

Assume a sitting position (your back should be straight and your feet should be on the floor).

To perform this breathing practice, first exhale air through your mouth. Then close your lips and inhale through your nose for a count of four. Hold your breath for a count of seven, then exhale air through your mouth for a count of eight.

Repeat this process at least four times.

Make sure that your tongue is pressed against the roof of your mouth during deep breathing.
