Experienced summer residents visit their country plots at any time of the year, including winter.

The thing is that there is something to do at the dacha even in conditions of snowfall and low temperatures.

One winter activity is hanging bird feeders.

After all, the gardener’s goal should be to attract birds to the site.

But then a completely natural question arises: “What should we use as feed?”

It turns out that healthy birds especially like lard and dried berries. These are the products that should be used in the cold season at the dacha.

Countryside life hack with lard and dried berries

In December or January you need to hang bird feeders in your dacha.

Dried berries should be placed in these devices.

It is also worth using subcutaneous pork fat. Important: it should not be salted.

Tits and sparrows really like this food. These birds will certainly pay attention to the delicacies, and then return to the site in the next summer season.

As a result, the plants will have “defenders”: the birds will eliminate those pests that pose a serious danger to crops.

It is worth emphasizing that using lard in the country will provide another interesting result. Thus, the trees will be protected from hares.

The reason is simple: lard, which many useful birds like so much, is hated by long-eared ones. Uninvited "guests" will avoid those trees where there are feeders with lard.
