How often to water peonies in May
Typically this means weekly watering.
But if the end of spring is hot and dry, then the procedure should be carried out not once every 7 days, but once every 2 days.
Water consumption should remain the same - 20 liters for each plant.
After watering is complete, another important procedure must be carried out. This involves loosening the soil under the peonies.
It is also advisable to use mulching material. Place pine bark, cones or fresh straw on the soil: this will help retain moisture for a long time and provide protection for the plant roots.
