What to do if you never trim a planted tree: a curious fact - satisfy your curiosity

While some gardeners are confident in the necessity of pruning trees in the garden, other summer residents are overcome with doubts: what will happen if you do not spend your time and energy on carrying out such a “procedure”?

The answer was found by an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh .

According to her, in this case the tree will continue to grow beautifully – however, only for its own pleasure, that is, the way it wants.

As a result, you will face several problems at once.

First, the trees may begin to branch out, laying the first tier very high from the ground. Second, the distance between the branches may be too large, which leads to the formation of long, weakly branched branches and a loose, voluminous crown, when most of the crop is formed on the periphery of the crown, leaving the inner part empty.

Conversely, trees that are regularly pruned have a more compact and strong crown, making them easier to harvest and maintain.

In addition, regular pruning allows you to regulate the harvest and distribute it evenly throughout the tree, preventing overloading of the branches.

It also helps prevent fruiting cycles, where the tree bears fruit irregularly (for example, every other year), even if it is planted in a suitable location and receives the necessary care.
