What plants should not be planted alone: there will be no harvest

One of the clearest examples of a plant that does not produce a harvest if it grows without a pair is sea buckthorn. The male and female trees must grow together, otherwise there will be no berries.
But these are far from all the examples. Many will be surprised when they learn why established crops bear fruit poorly.
Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", an agronomist and landscape designer, told us which plants should not be planted alone.
Highbush blueberry
It is better to plant a couple of bushes nearby. In this case, the harvest will be a sight to behold. Although blueberries are capable of self-pollination, not all flowers produce ovaries.
Blackberry
Its flowers are also capable of self-pollination. However, as in the case of blueberries, for stable and high yields, it is better to grow a couple of bushes and even different varieties on the plot.
Viburnum
In the center of the viburnum inflorescence are unisexual flowers. At the edges are sterile ones.
In general, this crop bears fruit well on its own, but if you grow two different varieties next to each other, the harvest will be excellent.
Actinidia
The male and female bushes must grow together. It is said that the pollen of female flowers is sterile.
