In modern apartments it can sometimes be difficult to achieve the optimal air temperature.

In this regard, situations often arise when the soil in pots with indoor plants dries out and is then abundantly moistened with water from a watering can.

There is little use in such an irrigation system.

On the contrary, the flower is subjected to stress every time – first due to overdrying, and then due to rotting of the roots.

The solution to this problem is to regulate the soil moisture by the plant itself. How can this be done, you will probably ask, and we will answer.

1. For the first option, when replanting the plant, place a rope in the pot, pass the ends of which through the drainage hole, which is located at the bottom of the flowerpot, and lower it into a container with water.

2. The second method is even simpler, since it does not require moving the plant from one pot to another.

In this case, you need to place inverted bottles filled with water in the flowerpot, placing their necks in the ground. This way, the liquid will gradually flow into the soil.
