If we are talking about tomatoes, then it will not be possible to grow tasty vegetables in dense and acidic soil, no matter what sugar variety the gardener tries to breed.
The reason is that the plant cannot develop normally and absorb the necessary nutrients in an acidic environment.
What to do
1. Start loosening the soil, adding sand and other loosening materials where necessary, grow green manure and work it into the soil.
2. Understand the acidity of the soil. You need to try and bring the soil in the beds to a neutral indicator. It is better to buy a special device for this, which will accurately determine the pH balance.
3. Lime materials can be used as deoxidizers, but dolomite flour is better, which, in addition to bringing the indicator back to normal, also contains microelements.
Deoxidation work is carried out in autumn or early spring. If you do this regularly, the taste of the grown fruits will noticeably improve.
