For many people, a standard breakfast looks like this: scrambled eggs/omelette, followed by tea or coffee with sweets (such as cookies).
At first glance, there is nothing dangerous.
But in reality, some of the ingredients of this simple morning meal simply don't go together.
First of all, we are talking about cookies and tea/coffee.
The reason is simple: the above-mentioned drinks are sources of tannins.
And these compounds do not combine with wheat flour.
Eating cookies with tea or coffee increases the load on the gastrointestinal tract.
The result of such a breakfast may be bloating.
Such a delicate problem as constipation may also make itself known.
You should not drink tea or coffee with any other sweets that contain wheat flour: stuffed pillows, buns, pies, etc.
By the way, you shouldn’t drink invigorating drinks after scrambled eggs: tannins “nullify” the benefits of the traditional morning dish.
So, "scrambled eggs, cookies, tea/coffee" is a very bad breakfast.
For reference
Cookies are small flour confectionery products of various shapes and low moisture content.
