And it's not always French fries or burgers. According to Dr. Alexander Myasnikov, all dieters should also give up fruit juices.
The reason is the high sugar content.
As Myasnikov explained, 2 glasses of orange or apple juice, each 0.5 liters, can be compared in terms of calories to 15 pieces of sugar.

The calorie content of this fruit varies between 33-53 kcal per 100 g, while, for example, beer contains about 43 kcal per the same 100 ml.
Therefore, in terms of weight loss, tangerines, the expert believes, are just as harmful as alcohol.
At the same time, Myasnikov does not deny the benefits of citrus fruits, which contain a large amount of vitamin C, which strengthens the immune system.
Of all the citrus fruits, the doctor advises choosing grapefruit, reminding that grapefruit juice should not be used to wash down antibiotics or other medications.
