Nutritionist Alexandra Razarenova told what should be included in the diet to get maximum benefit and avoid colds.

She shared the details with Radio 1 .

As the specialist noted, it is necessary to eat lamb, as it is an excellent source of protein and healthy fats. It is better to bake or stew the meat.

It would not be superfluous to include a small amount of lard in the menu. It contains useful elements that protect the respiratory tract from infections. You should not eat more than 20 grams of this product per day.

The specialist also recommended paying attention to ghee, which is rich in vitamins A and E.

During the winter months, it is advisable to add bone broths to your diet, which are easily digestible and rich in collagen and minerals.

The nutritionist reminded us that we shouldn’t forget about fruits and vegetables.

Fruits that are rich in vitamin C, such as tangerines, lemons or bell peppers, will be especially beneficial in winter.
