Everyone knows from childhood that you need to eat vegetables. They should be in your regular diet so that your body gets all the necessary vitamins and minerals.

In addition, such products contain plant fibers, which have a positive effect on digestion.

But we must remember that everything should be done in moderation.

Gastroenterologist Vladimir Neronov said this in a conversation with representatives of the RIA Novosti publication.

As the doctor noted, if you overdo it with raw vegetables in your diet, problems may arise. For example, colic may begin to bother you, and there is also a risk that problems with stool will begin.

For example, raw white cabbage is difficult to digest even for a healthy person due to the coarse dietary fiber with sulfur.

If you overdo it, you will start to bloat. But you can safely eat this product in fermented form.

Cauliflower and broccoli do not cause such a violent reaction. They can be stewed, baked and boiled.
