Gastritis is a serious disease, in which you need to follow certain rules in order not to worsen your condition.

For example, you should give up smoking. In this case, alcohol should be prohibited.

As for meals, they should be five times a day, but the portions should be small. Some products will have to be excluded from the diet. Therapist Olga Chirkova told NEWS.ru more about this.

The doctor noted that with any type of gastritis, you should avoid spicy, smoked, and fried foods. Pickled foods should also be removed from the menu.

Onions and garlic will cause harm.

It is better to exclude some raw vegetables completely, for example, white cabbage, mushrooms. Sour fruits and berries can be harmful.

In addition, the food should not be too hot or too cold. Food should be thermally, chemically and mechanically gentle.

If the acidity is not reduced, then, as Chirkova noted in a conversation with journalists, you should not eat strong broths.

It is also advisable to avoid sweets, soft pastries, soda and coffee.
