Nutritionist Elena Tikhomirova spoke in more detail about what is best to choose for the last meal of the day, reports the Izvestia publication.

She noted that for dinner you need to choose easily digestible protein and fiber. For example, you should give preference to fish and seafood. It is better to bake them.

You can also grill vegetables or slice them fresh. You can consider a chicken and vegetable stew. Cottage cheese with a little fruit or scrambled eggs will do.

If you want to lose weight quickly, it is better to limit carbohydrates in the evening.

Heavy, fatty or salty foods should be avoided.

You should have dinner approximately 3-4 hours before bed.
