Doctor warns about dangers of overeating cherries

A nutritionist has named the safe average daily portion of cherries.

Natalia Kruglova spoke about the consequences of overeating berries.

According to the doctor, to avoid health problems, one should not eat more than 200-300 g of cherries per day, Sputnik radio reports.

The nutritionist noted that overeating is fraught with a whole range of disorders. For example, the doctor reported that excessive passion for cherries leads to discomfort in the digestive system, bloating, and weight gain.

The expert advises storing berries in the refrigerator. The best place is the vegetable and fruit section. But even in this case, you should not count on long-term storage. Over time, the fruits begin to spoil, which can be determined by their color.

If the cherries have acquired a brownish tint and the berries themselves have become soft, this means that the fruit has expired. Kruglova noted that it is impossible to get poisoned by such cherries. However, the taste of the berries will deteriorate, and the list of vitamins will be reduced.
