If you need to get ripe bananas quickly, use the baking method. This method is very simple:

  1. Line a baking sheet or loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Preheat oven to 150 degrees.
  3. Place the bananas on a baking sheet (note, do not peel them, leave the fruit unpeeled).
  4. Bake the fruit in the oven, setting the timer for 1 hour.

When you open the oven door, you will see that the banana peel has turned black. Don't be alarmed - the banana pulp will be soft, sweet and delicious.
