“But you can’t fry potatoes without oil!” you’ll probably say.

However, the expert of the online publication Belnovosti in the field of cooking, chef, fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova has a completely different opinion on this matter.

The specialist emphasizes that, when preparing fried potatoes, it is, oddly enough, possible to do without the fatty, viscous product.

How to cook fried potatoes without oil

First, follow the usual steps: wash the tubers, peel them and cut them into small pieces.

Next, take a frying pan (preferably with a non-stick coating) and place it on the burner. Turn on medium heat.

When the pan is hot, pour the previously prepared potato pieces into it.

After this, pour in 50-70 milliliters of plain water.

Place a lid on the pan and wait 10 minutes.

After this, remove the lid, add salt to the vegetable and set the timer for another 10 minutes.

As a result, you will get the perfect side dish: delicious, golden, tender and healthy.
