It is not for nothing that the dish got its name: its appearance really does resemble bulbous flowers.
Despite their unusual “appearance” and incredible appetizing taste, these “tulips” consist of the simplest ingredients and are incredibly easy to prepare.
The recipe was shared by the expert of the online publication Belnovosti in the field of cooking, chef, fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova.
Add an onion minced through a meat grinder, two garlic cloves crushed with a press and 50 grams of processed cheese to 350 grams of minced pork. Salt and pepper the mixture.
Next, take 10-11 potatoes. Peel them and cut off the bottom so that the vegetables can be placed vertically.
On each tuber, make 4 vertical cuts on top.
Stuff all the potatoes with the previously prepared meat and vegetable mixture.
Place the resulting “tulips” in a baking dish and pour the sauce over these “constructions”.
The latter is prepared as follows: you need to “combine” 50 grams of tomato sauce, 30 grams of mayonnaise and 100 milliliters of plain water.
Cover the filled form with foil and place the container in the oven. The temperature in the latter should be 190 degrees.
The first stage of baking potato “tulips” takes 45 minutes.
Next, you need to remove the metal paper. Without it, the dish should bake for another 20 minutes.
The result will be a very beautiful and tasty dish. Enjoy your meal!
