The secret ingredient that revives pancakes and makes them much more delicious is lemon zest.
One tablespoon of crushed top layer of lemon peel is enough for the entire pancake batter (3 eggs, 300 milliliters of milk, 100 grams of flour, 50 grams of melted butter).
Thanks to the lemon zest, the pancakes will acquire a light, pleasant sourness, which goes perfectly with sour cream, cottage cheese, condensed milk, and whipped cream.
