Many people pour out the oil from a can of sprats, thereby making a gross mistake.

The point is that they get rid of the most valuable liquid in culinary terms.

After all, sprat oil can be used in the preparation of many dishes.

So, it makes sense to add this liquid to some side dish: for example, to boiled potatoes, rice, pasta. You will get a very appetizing dish.

"Sprat" oil easily turns into an ideal dressing for vegetable salad. To do this, just add a little vinegar or mustard to the liquid.

The recipe for this spread was shared by the expert of the online publication Belnovosti in the field of cooking, chef, fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova .

How to make a pate with sprat butter

First, you need to boil two eggs. The finished dish should be peeled, cut into cubes and put into a blender bowl.

You should also put the cubes obtained after cutting the boiled carrots there.

In the same container you need to put some crackers, 30 grams of grated cheese and the butter left in the sprat can.

The mixture needs to be salted and peppered. You can add some greens.

Next, the contents of the blender need to be thoroughly "processed". The output will be a very tasty paste - this is the very same pate.
