Quinoa is traditionally used in the preparation of soups, salads and main courses.

But few people know that you can make a delicious and at the same time healthy and nutritious dessert from it. It's time to fix that.

So, to make quinoa cookies you will need the cereal itself, flour and butter – 50 g each, and another 30 g of powdered sugar.

Leave the butter at room temperature for a while to soften.

Grind some of the cereal (25 g) using a coffee grinder, then mix all the dry ingredients, add butter and quickly knead the dough.

You will need to form it into a sausage, which you will need to roll in quinoa grains.

Now wrap the base of our cookies with cling film and put it on the refrigerator shelf. After 30 minutes, the sausage made of dough should be removed from the refrigerator and cut into small portions.

Place them on a baking sheet, previously covered with parchment paper, and bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 10 minutes. Serve the quinoa cookies when cool.
