To prepare stewed cabbage with mushrooms, you will first need some products.

Mushrooms need to be cleaned of any debris stuck to them, and then put to boil. At this time, you can take care of the cabbage - it should be chopped and placed in a frying pan with high edges, where half of the oil is already heated.
Fry the cabbage, stirring, for about 15 minutes.
The mushrooms, ready by this point, should be fried in another frying pan, also in vegetable oil and also stirring. After 10 minutes, add chopped onion to them and continue to fry for another 5 minutes. At the end of frying, the mushrooms and onions should be slightly salted.
Let's get back to the cabbage - add tomato paste, salt and pepper, then pour in 2-3 tablespoons of water and stir. Now it's time for the bay leaf - when the spice is in the pan, cover it with a lid and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
All that remains is to combine the cabbage with the mushrooms, stir again and leave under the lid for another 3-4 minutes.
