How to cook bulgur so that it turns out crumbly and tasty: recommendations only to the point

Take, for example, bulgur (you can also find other names for it, such as bulgor or gurgur), which our eyes sometimes stumble upon in the cereals section and is wheat prepared using a special technology.

Today we will tell you how to cook bulgur deliciously. So, to get a truly delicious dish, you should listen to the following recommendations.

1. Bulgur does not need to be soaked - on the contrary, if you are going to cook it, fry the grain for a couple of minutes in a frying pan greased with vegetable oil.

2. To cook this cereal, you need to use a thick-walled saucepan or a cauldron. A multicooker will do the job perfectly.

3. Of course, the proportions of cereal and water are important. For 1 cup of bulgur you will need 2 cups of water.

If all the liquid has boiled away and the dish is not yet ready, add about 50 ml of boiling water and reduce the heat.

4. If you want to soften the cereal, add two tablespoons of vegetable oil to the pan during cooking.
