Many housewives are in no hurry to cook fish at home because they are not sure of the final result.

In fact, if you use the right recipe, you can prepare a dish that is in no way inferior to the restaurant version.

For example, fish baked in a salt shell will not only be a hearty dinner, but also a real decoration of the holiday table.

To prepare this dish you will need a minimum of products, the main ones being a gutted fish carcass and a pack of coarse salt.

To form a cushion of salt, add a small amount of water or combine the salt with pre-beaten egg white.

Place the fish on top and sprinkle with the remaining salt. Note: it will be much easier to do this if you wet your hands with water.

All that remains is to preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the fish in it for about 30-40 minutes.

Once the dish is ready, break up the salt shell using a sharp knife or hammer.
