How to cook liver so that it turns out tender and soft?

Unfortunately, cooking beef and pork liver causes many problems for housewives. But there are a few simple tricks that will help you get an incredibly tasty and very tender dish in your kitchen.

Remove all veins and films

Clean the beef liver from the film, having previously left the product in a container with warm water for ten minutes. If we are talking about pork offal, it must be kept in boiling water for thirty seconds. Thanks to this method, you will very quickly and easily get rid of the thin film that is on the surface of the product. Also remove the veins, since they are the ones that affect the fact that the finished liver is bitter.

Marinade for liver

Be sure to marinate the product in an acidic environment beforehand so that the culinary masterpiece pleases with its softness. You can use lemon juice or regular table vinegar. Dilute the selected ingredient with water and place the liver in a container with it. After two hours, you can begin heat treatment of the offal.

Use baking soda

Before frying the liver, you can sprinkle it with soda. The offal should stand for an hour. Then wash the product well under running water and dry it with paper towels.

Soak the liver in milk

Thirty minutes before cooking, it is worth leaving the liver pieces in cold milk. This is an opportunity to eliminate the bitter taste of the product, to give it softness. Then dry the offal with paper towels and begin to fry it.

Do not cut the liver into too large pieces. Otherwise, you will get a tough dish, since the offal will not warm up to the required temperature from the inside.

Rules for frying liver

Before sending the pieces of the product to the frying pan, dip each of them in flour. The oil in the pan should be hot, as the liver will quickly stick to the surface of the cold bottom. When you see that a golden crust has appeared on the product, turn the pieces over. On average, the liver is fried on one side for five minutes. Do not keep the ingredient in the frying pan for too long, as this will make it tough and dry.

If you want to get perfectly tender and very juicy liver, add sour cream to the frying pan. The contents of the container must be stewed on minimum heat for no more than twenty minutes. Add garlic passed through a press or onions cut into rings to the frying pan to neutralize the bitter taste of the offal.

Remember that you need to salt the contents of the container at the end of cooking. Thanks to this, the liver will be very juicy and will please every member of your family.
