Capelin is considered an inexpensive fish that is neither nutritious nor has a special taste.

However, many people don't even realize that it is served in restaurants. Chefs make it so juicy that no one even remembers "dry and boring" capelin.

The fish is marinated in a special solution. It gives it a light, slightly sweet taste.

First, you need to prepare the fish (150 g): wash, gut, etc. Then move on to preparing the marinade.

Mix 1.5 cups of water, 1.5 tbsp. sugar and 2 tbsp. salt. The ingredients should dissolve completely.

Pour the resulting solution over the capelin for 10 minutes. Then dry the fish well using paper towels and roll in 100 g of flour and fry in heated oil (2 tbsp.) - about 4 minutes on each side.

A simple marinade makes the fish more juicy and gives it an unusual taste. Such capelin is complemented with lemon.
