Cranberry juice has been dubbed a natural source of vitamins and minerals, a drink of youth and health.
There is no need to be afraid to drink cranberry juice every day. The berries are added to porridge, pies, and consumed in pure form.
We sort out the berries, separate the spoiled ones, put the crushed ones in a colander and rinse under running water.
Then we transfer the cranberries to a paper towel to dry, pour them into a bowl and crush them with a pestle.
Squeeze the juice through cheesecloth into a glass container and put it in the refrigerator.
Place the crushed berries in a saucepan and add water, bring to a boil and cook for 3-4 minutes.
Strain the broth through cheesecloth, leave to cool to 50 degrees and add a little honey. Then stir and pour in the remaining freshly squeezed cranberry juice, let it brew.
Ingredients: 250 g cranberries, 1 l water, 1 tbsp honey.
The original taste and aroma will be enhanced several times if, when boiling the pulp, you add a few cardamom pods, a clove bud and a couple of star anise to the water.
