As a child develops, he learns to understand his place in this world. He studies the environment around him, all objects are new to him and arouse genuine interest.
Children from 1 to 3 years old are not able to understand the difference between what may be dangerous and what is not. It is important for them to touch everything with their fingers and, if possible, put it in their mouth.
The word "no" means nothing to them, especially if their parents constantly say it.
For him it is something abstract, so the child will continue to ignore it in every possible way.
Parents need to stop automatically saying the boring “no” and move on to actions that are more understandable for the child.
For example, “hot”, “cold”, “brr”, “poop”, etc. will be easier for a growing person to perceive.
Over time, he will be able to associate a glass of boiling water with the word “hot” and will not reach for it.
There is no need to completely deny the child the opportunity to explore the world around him as best as possible. He sees bright jars in the medicine cabinet, which naturally awakens a genuine interest in him.
Instead of medicine boxes, you can offer him something similar - empty packages, cubes, toys shaped like the desired items.
The word "no" should not exist separately from actions. If drawing on the wallpaper is prohibited, then it is necessary to gently lead the child away from it and show him something more interesting - a favorite doll or a new car.
