There are many dangerous parental phrases that can seriously harm a child.

First of all, we are talking about offensive statements.

A child may also develop psychological problems due to phrases that include strict prohibitions and intimidation.

And two phrases that are considered “good” can also ruin a child’s life.

When communicating with a child, never use such remarks:

"You are the best"

At first glance, this phrase can only help the baby.

After all, a child who hears such praise becomes more self-confident.

But then the parents will understand that calling their baby “the best” was not worth it.

A responsible child who has been “awarded” with such a characteristic will become indecisive: he will not want to act and take responsibility, fearing to disappoint mom and dad.

For other children, the phrase “You are the best” causes their self-esteem to become inflated: the child begins to clearly overestimate himself, ruining relationships with peers and teachers.

"How obedient you are! Well done!"

It would seem that there is nothing wrong with this praise: the child continues to obey his parents.

But there is also a negative effect. For example, the child may come to the wrong conclusion: "The main thing is to be obedient and fulfill all the demands of adults. And then everything will be fine."

This kind of reasoning makes the child dependent on others’ opinions, lacking initiative and independence.
