3 Phrases That Can Make a Child Hate Their Own Parents

Sometimes one unfortunate phrase is enough for parents to lose their authority in the eyes of their own child.

Therefore, mothers and fathers should carefully monitor their speech so as not to say anything unnecessary.

There are three phrases that, upon hearing, can make a child feel worse about their parents.

This hatred will be quiet. And yet, such a situation cannot be allowed.

"Stop crying!"

It is absolutely normal for parents to calm their child down without making any claims against him.

But the situation will only get worse if mom and dad try to reproach the baby for the emotions he shows.

Perhaps after the phrase "Stop crying" the child will stop crying. But it is possible that he will start accumulating anger and hatred inside.

Therefore, try to put yourself in the place of an upset child and under no circumstances scold him for tears.

"And here is your classmate..."

Comparing a child with other children (and not in favor of your own son or daughter) is a very dangerous technique.

You shouldn't tell a child that he is bad at something, but his classmate is good.

Such a claim is unlikely to increase the motivation of a boy or girl to study. But a schoolchild may well be offended. And become the owner of low self-esteem - too.

"You can't do it. I'd rather do it."

There is nothing wrong with a child not being able to do a simple task the first time. For example, brushing teeth properly, making a bed or tying shoelaces.

Give your child a chance to "practice." Do not ridicule him or do the procedure for him.

Otherwise, a child who is deprived of the opportunity to acquire skills independently may develop a quiet hatred towards his own parents.
