Some parents scold their children for bad grades at school.
You should never do this. It's hard enough for a schoolchild. And additional psychological pressure only makes the situation worse.
If parents yell at a child who got a bad grade, then he will most likely hide the fact that he got bad grades.
So it's better to avoid shouting. But pretending that nothing happened is also not worth it.
If a child gets a bad grade in his/her diary, then mom and dad should figure out the reasons for what happened.
“Please tell me why this happened?” is exactly the phrase that should come from the mouths of parents.
You need to speak calmly: without raising your voice and without trying to humiliate.
If you act in this way, the child will tell you everything without any problems and will most likely express a willingness to correct the situation.
It is possible that the student was assessed incorrectly. Or some unforeseen circumstance arose (for example, the student forgot to learn something).
Perhaps the child is simply unable to understand the topic, and the teacher is not ready to help him with this. Then the parents can come to the rescue.
In any case, you need to act calmly. And then the boy or girl will trust their parents more. And their academic performance will improve.
