Many people are confident that they are right when they decide that it is more harmless to endure a headache than to take a pill.

Meanwhile, pain affects the nervous system and signals some kind of disturbance in the body.

Headache

The symptom is quite common and often does not pose a danger.

But this is no reason to ignore headaches. Doctors are of the same opinion and are categorically against tolerating any physical pain.

Tension pain

Doctors distinguish two types of headaches and this is the first of them.

It is described as a dull pain that affects different parts of the head, can last for hours and is accompanied by a throbbing sensation.

Migraines

A less common occurrence (no more than 20% of all cases).

These are quite severe attacks lasting up to 1-2 days, causing nausea and vomiting.

The disease is mainly inherited.

What can cause a headache?

Firstly, disruption of the nervous system.

Secondly, lack of sleep and insufficient water consumption during the day.

Thirdly, stress and bad habits (smoking, alcohol).

Doctors advise not only to take painkillers, but also to learn how to relax.

It is necessary to lead a physically active lifestyle, walk more often in the fresh air, and also avoid stressful situations.
