Nuts are tasty, healthy, but high in calories.

Almonds, peanuts, walnuts, cashews and hazelnuts all have high energy value.

Nuts are best consumed as a separate snack and in small quantities.

If you still want to eat them with something, be careful: choose a safe combination so as not to overload the gastrointestinal tract.

What you shouldn't eat nuts with

But you shouldn't eat nuts with meat. Yes, this combination is tasty. And, it would seem, healthy.

But there is a problem: the finished dish will be too "heavy". Consequences such as heaviness in the stomach and heartburn may make themselves known. In addition, it will be impossible to talk about normal absorption of useful components.

Also, nuts should not be consumed with cottage cheese. Such a combination seriously increases the load on the digestive system.

Also, nuts do not “get along” with starchy vegetables. Therefore, you should not eat walnuts or cashews with potatoes or beets: such a mixture is very poorly digested. Remember this when preparing salads.
